COACHELLA DREAMING

Coachella's second weekend has come to an end, and though I didn't get the chance to fly south for the much-hyped festival, I definitely have plans to make it there next year rather than living vicariously through blog posts and live streams.  Hopefully the lineup is just as great (if not more) when I go!  I've been conjuring up my *ultimate* Coachella lineup, and taking in bets towards who they'll announce for next year.  Well, not actually...but I'm open to the idea of it!

Here's my tentative lineup:

HEADLINERS

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
I know he hasn't come out with any music for over six years now, but I'm sure he's still as great a performer as he was back then.  Maybe between now and next April, he'll head back to the studio and release something.  No need to bring the sexy, just bring Justin back.

JUSTICE & DAFT PUNK
Another act that has been AWOL, Daft Punk.  If they were to perform a set with Justice (If you know me well you know I love them to death), I might just faint.  And not just because of the crazy heat in the Coachella valley.

KANYE WEST
Considering Coachella doesn't typically repeat headlining acts, this is a long shot.  But again this is a dream line-up, and I would love to see Kanye live again.  The last time I saw him was in 2004 when he opened for Usher in Toronto.  He'd perform a mish-mash of songs from all of his albums, namely College Dropout and MBDTF.  I suspect a number of surprise guests too.

And other acts that would be in attendance (in no particular order.  many more to be added):

Phoenix, The XX, MIA, Empire of the Sun, Adele, Coldplay, Radiohead, Frank Ocean, A-Trak, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, S Club 7 (Reunited of course), Major Lazer, Lykke Li, Drake, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, Usher (to do a surprise performance with Justin Timberlake), Jay-Z, Girl Talk, Foster the People, Deadmau5, Childish Gambino, Arcade Fire...

Who would you pay to see during your ultimate Coachella?

PINNED TO MY BED

After what seemed to be the longest week of my life, it was great to get together with all of the Brebeuf peeps since I hadn't seen them in so long. We celebrated the birthdays of Erin, Larry and Everet - with just about every alcoholic beverage you could think of. Adonai mixed up some "Adios" and it lived up to its name. T'was a fun time, and I owe a bunch of you a huge thank you for taking care of me come 3AM. xoxo

Happy birthday girl :)

Jesse and his dreads

LOL EV. Nice

"Throw another sausage on the grill"

That Ciroc...does not go down well as a shot

But we finished it anyway.

ALLDAY > ADIOS

It's David freakin' Knox!

St. Gabe's

I hope you got her home safely, Chen!

What is going on here...

GOODNIGHT

XOXO

I love Mondays. Mainly because I actually get a good night's rest, probably way more than necessary. I spend the rest of my time preparing myself breakfast/lunch, doing some readings, and mozying aroung my house.

And then at the end of the day, there are new episodes of Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars to look forward to. Speaking of, I'd like to thank Much Music for the Gossip Girl Season 4 DVD! (Twitter) Contests are awesome, as I've been saying for the past few years. Anyway, I'm excited to see the outfits pulled together for Blair's bridal shower tonight, and furthermore, her wedding! Though I'm not much of a Louis fan. Aside from the fact that he's a prince, nothing else is appealing about him. She should be with Dan.

So who wants to have a GG sleepover? Macarons included, of course. Follow MuchMusic on Twitter Here!

SOMETHING'S FISHY

Happy New Year everyone! Yeah super late greeting but I hope all (two) of you are having a wonderful time thus far. To update, I had the privilege of heading down to Vegas to ring in 2012, and spent a bit of time in Long Beach with two of my best friends and the welcoming arms of Momma Michelle, Eric and Corey. The energy down there is so great. Friendly people (sometimes too friendly), endless alcohol, and Mickey Mouse? It's a recipe for the best start to the new year.

And then I had to take a flight back to reality with school starting awkwardly early this month. This semester is picking up quickly, and hopefully it'll pass by with the same momentum. I'm more so excited for the weather to pass. I'm ready to wear shorts and sunnies out, even though we just had our first "real" hit of winter quite recently.

I'm having fun playing with Mimi's fisheye lens which she kindly lent to me, since my wallet won't allow me to get one of my own anytime soon. Thanks classy girl.

I'll eventually post up photos from Cali/Vegas, maybe one day when I'm not feeling lazy. Then I can be all nostalgic again, and start planning my next trip there in my head.
